A week of temps in the upper 90’s-low-100’s is NOT EXTREME weather for our area. It’s a totally normal seasonal pattern that should happen every year.

The sun angle will be at it’s annual zenith for the northern hemisphere on Friday/Saturday - exactly corresponding to the highest predicted temps. Through July and August, the sun angle will gradually decline, mimicking the sun angles from May and April.  And there’s plenty of hot weather in those “summer” months with a sun angle that is the same as mid-spring.
