I think you're right that they need to focus on Cruz, but I strongly believe Jax is using that as an excuse to get out of the promises he made to Brittany that he never really expected to have to honor.  She gave up everything, including her self-respect, to "lock" this guy down and make babies, and now he's well past his self-destruct date in a relationship and scrambling for any exit.

That said, it's like Lindsay and Carl - he might be a jerk in the way he's going about it but I agree that they don't work well together and the breakup is inevitable regardless of who is most "at fault" in the moment of the break.[/quote]
