The graduate degree requirement is really more about screening for people with a certain work ethic and intelligence level but there is nothing about the job that requires anything I learned in my grad program. A reasonably smart college grad could learn everything I know with a little bit of time and effort (and be spared the loans that pretty much everyone takes out for the program). And I think the same is true for many jobs that require college degree.
