I wish people were more educated on how rare uttering obscenities is and also more empathetic to what a tough road TS is. My kids have TS and it’s hard. They are incredible humans who work hard to always make sure others around them are supported and comfortable. They are excellent students and worried that their tics might somehow disrupt another but the fact is the more they worry about controlling tics, the worse they are because their stress level goes up. Imagine trying to suppress a sneeze or a cough or trying not to scratch an itch. Thank goodness they haven’t been discriminated against by colleges or workplaces. [/quote]
