A LOT of people hate Ron and Hermione together. They don’t make sense. And people wanted to see a redemption arc for Draco because he got some character growth in canon but not a huge amount. Fanon Draco is so much more complex.

Some of it is also because fans love Tom Felton and they still want to see him end up with Emma. Especially once interviews came out with Emma saying she had a huge crush on him, and Tom saying he’s always loved her. So Dramione is their fantasy pairing.

And honestly, there are many different pairings I’ve enjoyed only in the fanfic world. There really are some great writers out there who have been able to convince me and make me swoon. One of my favorites is Neville and Pansy. And if you’re really adventurous…try Dreomione (Draco/Theo/Hermione).[/quote]
