I used to do swim skirts but switched to shorts due to the float up in water problem. I like the atheta ones best but also have lands end ones, which have a little more tummy suck-in situation. I wear them with bikini tops if I'm wearing a rash guard (I have serious middle aged mom stomach so generally won't walk around with my belly showing), or a sporty tankini. It basically feels like something you'd wear to play tennis or jog in, but can also swim in very practically or play volleyball or whatever on the beach. The ones I have don't bunch weirdly -- I think the longer board shorts can look a little weird if you're not model thin. And for PP that said a good electric trimmer is life changing -- can you recommend one? I'd like to get one. I've broken up with my hair dresser and feel weird going back to the same salon for waxing! (It's a Seinfeldian situation.)
different poster - but i started using that braun home laser thing on my bikini line and it has been transformative. i used to shave and either had hair or razor burn - i started using that braun thingie last year and i now feel totally comfortable in a regular bikini. doesn't hurt much either.
