^^ stop deluding yourself- Neu gets dinged by its graduation rate in US News bc kids aren’t doing it in 4 years bc of the coops. Tell the whole story. - when we attended a tour there, the student who spoke at the front of the auditorium said that he actually had two coop internships And we’re still graduating on time. I knew that wasn’t the typical kid so when it was over, I went up and talked to him and he said that none of his friends are actually graduating on time, but he was able to get to cohorts because he came in with A ton of credits, and he also went to school year-round, taking credits.
That makes sense. We asked our tour guide about going abroad and still graduating in 4 years when also doing a co-op. She got cagey about it and said something about opportunities in the summer. If the co-op gets you ahead when you enter the job market, I don't mind it. But, it's not for everyone.
