We were just ready to pay off half when they said we had to wait because our loan was being transferred. Our plan is to do half and half. Our original mortgage co allowed unlimited pay down increments with it recast each time at same interest rate for $85 each time. A friend can only pay down 2x. Do you know if you can pay down in increments and have the loan recast each time?[/quote] Whether the loan can be recast is something that was probably in your original loan agreement. Mr. Cooper is the servicer; they do not have a right to modify terms of your original loan. Did your original loan have a guaranteed recast?[/quote]
