In addition to being liaison for the team to the league. So they hire coaches and set pay. They deal with the registration and practices. In our case they ask for the use of the pool. They run point for issues with kids or parents. Our coaches just coach. When there is a problem they tell the rep and the rep handles it. If a parent has an issue the rep handles it. It is a year long job for our team because we have a winter swim program that runs several days a week. We have 200 swimmers. So it is significant.
