Some of this is on you. Even if you don’t have an inspection contingency you should have a home inspector walk through the house with you and point things out and you should ask questions.[/quote]

PP's agent shouldn't have lied to her. That's unethical. Plus you're not allowed to just access the property to perform an inspection that wasn't agreed to without the seller's permission. [/quote]
