[/quote] +1 MS immersion required in-depth and substantive essays and projects, both in history/WG and Spanish language arts. Grade 8 was particularly demanding. I don't remember what they were required to do in English, because what they were required to do in Spanish was such a heavy lift. One kid had straight As in MS and has maintained straight As through HS. We know that's unusual. Other kid did not have straight As and MS and does not have straight As in HS. In both cases, they were well-prepared to enter HS. [/quote]
