You're right.  I skimmed over the fact that the poster's daughter had an ACL tear and was too flippant.  But to say there is a high likelihood that your daughter will tear her ACL playing soccer is overly alarmist, regardless of the poster's personal experience.

I appreciate that you’ve apologized. It’s surprising and props for that. Sounds like you didn’t bother to read  any of the research provided. It clearly states that yes, there is a high degree of probability during puberty and a very high degree as compared to boys. [/quote]
