University Park if you want a good public in the city but it is a bubble, white, and insular - Highland Park is the only HS in that district. UP/HP is its own 'town' inside Dallas. That would be the most bethesda-like in terms of your peers. There is also Preston Hollow with Hillcrest in DISD. Lots of good privates but I don't know how admissions chances are in mid-hs. Other burbs have good districts but they are racist.
Notice that you describe the other burbs as racist, but Highland Park is a white, insular bubble. Hmmm...
You must not know Dallas. All of Dallas is racist. Much of it is Bible thumping, no holds barred, no shame racist. I moved a lot as a child. As such I have friends from many different “best” schools in the country, including one mentioned in this thread. It is shocking how much less successful the “sucessful” Dallas grads are. Churchy teacher is the pinnacle of success. I’m not knocking that as a career, but the percentages are off the charts compared with the other schools I attended in other areas.
You don’t have a clue about the wealthy circles in Dallas, your information isn’t relevant to OP.
