Did the students go into the school building?? And be around other students too? Didn't they get picked up from the site after it happened? This is where a bus tracking app could have helped parents - why hadn't the bus arrived at the school yet? [/quote]

Are these students 18yrs old age already, las time I checked middle schoolers are not typically adult age. Parents/caregivers/emergency contacts should have been informed to come to the site to assess themselves if their kid should proceed to school. At that point, parents can take their kid to the doctor's or ER if they necessary. So, they don't know how to reach parents in this emergency because who would collect each students's contact information to call from site of incident? Ugh, MCPS.[/quote]
