We  all know the only place that really does plus petites is Talbots. PP no doubt is 5'9" and wears a size 4. She can shop anywhere.

Someone in another post noted that fit is one of the most important elements of dressing well and that Talbots with its diversity of sizes across almost all its items offers this.

Not sure why people get so exercised about simple black work pants and khakis. Talbots is the only retailer I’ve found that makes larger size clothes that actually fit. I have large boobs and hips and a relatively small waist, and most “plus” size clothes hang on me like a sack. All others seem to just expand their existing pattern in all directions, so if they fit me in the chest, I have swaths of extra fabric in the waist.  Talbots seems to actually use actual larger size fit models and produces clothes that fit real people.
