If you make hard or soft boiled eggs regularly, I can’t recommend this little gadget https://www.amazon.com/Dash-Rapid-Egg-Cooker-Scrambled/dp/B0168CNYRE/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1AD63T4TJG9QP&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.6EgbaYKDagXmbMaQUIVQbby-AOl2hndC9DTTtDmGjer8MVJS-guO0cED0lErin01x_x2Lr-MRQ4eqkhy24AAU9sCzhOs3qJ1bsYFvOVQyIux8H3DLfKRElDMqPKAgOGORlMr9fXkaE9N5Dr84RI8wc6qBeINMzZpaEUTnKV48T8oVH1kLQXZl86Ilj6r2S0vswP37qcIipkLSqMPlKNp-TjqgMQKrok0W9M4hC2SuHU.MjOh2EFp_pKpWpI89EOVybtU20sZMKqvdkewO6Qtep8&dib_tag=se&keywords=hard%2Bboiled%2Begg%2Bcooker&qid=1714001117&sprefix=Hardboild%2Begg%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-3&th=1 enough. They are perfect every time. When I use a pot, I put them in boiling water for three minutes, then turn off the heat and let sit for 20, then put them in cold water. But the cooker is easier and works every time.
+1 to the gadget! I'd get varying results when boiling in the pot and they were never quite right. Now I just press the button and walk away until they're done - SO easy and works decently for poached eggs, too.
