Aldis buys their produce from different suppliers (cheaper suppliers, cheaper origins, lower quality grades, closer to sell-by dates) than Whole Foods. If you are careful and smart about it, you can make it work, especially if you eat the produce quickly. But on the whole I've been burnt too often trying to safe a few pennies getting cheap produce.
