That’s true for some.
It’s not true for many.
Just because someone is complaining, doesn’t mean they haven’t stepped up or volunteered or even been on a board.
Ultimately, boards can ruin it for the whole team. Many won’t accept help, think they know everything, or insist on controlling everything. Some are just jerks. [/quote]

Our board has many parents who are 8U. They come to swim team and think it’s a shot show and they know how to make it better. They really don’t understand the dynamics of the team, the coaches, the swimmers and the parents. They also don’t understand the money aspect. Not LSI ding the money in the right places.  They are also making up process as they go along. They already screwed up and the season hasn’t started yet. There also board members creating alliances. It’s sick. Parents suck. They ruin everything. Glad the kids don’t know.
