I Agree with OP . Many of the people are appealing who are already frustrated and this forum is the only holy place .especially for the first timers is gonna take some time to understand and navigate each topics . you all TJ supporters make a point we may be interested to know if we have 6th and 7th graders, but as the OP mentioned many of the this AAP seekers are 2-6 graders who are totally into Appealing,HOPE scores ,samples .TJ parents must have once been AAP Parents in the past and must have been in their shoes so let this forum be AAP .
People like you are the reason why AAP is hated. So self centered. This thread is basically an AAP thread anyway so I wouldn't count it in your list of TJ threads. Tj kids have 2 weeks to determine traveling for up to an hour away from their base school for four years which impacts college. If you want to talk about AAP start your own thread or post on another AAP thread. It will move your issue to the top just like any other post. Not that hard to do.
Ha Ha who says me as self centered I can say you are more self centered than me .If you hate AAP so much then why are you here ? to troll ?. Please look at the Forum name says "AAP" not TJ you AAP haters. you go and start TJ . You are like recreating American history ,came to our land and says that it belongs to you and asking everyone to move out . you can create your own thread and for gods sake name it TJ
NP. You don't seem to know why this forum was created. It wasn't to help AAP parents or to give AAP parents their own private forum - it was created to get the haters out of the regular schools forum because they were so obnoxious. The haters belong here. Both the AAP and the TJ haters belong here. That's what this forum was created for.
No it was created because the gen ed parents didn't want to hear about advanced academics so much.
It was really about the frequent interminable fights between boosters and haters. I don't blame the gen ed parents to want that gone. I don't think the creation of this separate forum has been good for AAP parents though - the change in admissions shows that gaming the system is ultimately counterproductive. It may be years yet for current parents of young children to realize that though. If they ever do.
