Given your age and shape, I recommend Spanx jeans.

For daytime casual - I would go for a straight leg, or wide leg crop. Spanks makes a kick flare that is also a great option.

Also, one thing that is different about casual looks that are currently trendy - wide leg, pleated trousers are very current, and worn very casually, the way women typically style denim casually.  I find them often more comfortable than my jeans. For weekend daytime casual, this wide leg chino pair is great with a fitted tee and sneakers and has become my go to.
