They had a lot of food today. Two different snack areas with finger foods— little sandwiches, muffins, frittatas, custards (egg-heavy, being on theme). And a cute picnic area to sit and look at the monument! And then people giving candy away as we left. [/quote]

I thought it was really well thought out to have running/kicking/gross motor skills right after the lines, then heavy snacks before entering, then the egg roll and festivities.  Also smart to save the candy until people were on their way out.  Very clever![/quote]
