I did a lot of hiking in Australia with few people and lots of kangaroos… plus wallabies, koalas, a wombat, a goanna, an echidna, and lyrebirds. I did see a venomous snake on a trail but it was easy to avoid. I had the most incredible time in Australia. What makes a travel memory stand out to me isn’t just the sights. It’s also about the friendship and love I had with my companions, the sense of adventure and physical challenge, and nostalgia for my carefree life before kids. [/quote]
