My ideal pair of jeans is high waisted and not "curvy" (those usually are too tight in the waist) with either a straight leg or boot cut. I'm OK with up to $100 for a pair if they are long lasting. I'm checking out the other recommendations, too - pls keep them coming :-D

Yes, air dry your jeans, especially if they have stretch.

Look at JCrew - their talls are longer. Have lots of jeans on the factory website
