And we wonder why so many teen girls have anxiety.  Sleepovers are not always dangerous places, and yet, that's what we are teaching our girls.  If you have taught your daughter about appropriate/not appropriate touch, and this girl is a friend let her spend the night with her friend![/quote]

I wouldn't let my daughter sleep over at a stranger's house. That's what the adults in the house are at this point in time. It's different if you have known the family for a long time and trust them.

It's also not a matter of appropriate/inappropriate touch. Teens know all about it. But, they're still kids and will in all likelihood not be able to withstand coercion from a grown man. This is the kind of thing that entirely alters the trajectory of a child's life, so I would not be willing to take chances.[/quote]
