Anyone with half a brain knows he mis-spoke, given the right word makes sense in the context of the phrase, and the wrong word (the one he used) doesn't make any sense at all.

You're not wrong.

Then again, Trump puts out a lot of racial dogwhistles on Truth Social and at his rallies. So if he "accidentally" used the term, it would fit with the rest of his history.

I don't recall Trone often playing footsie with legit white supremacists and using dogwhistles as part of his day-to-day campaign. [/quote]
