Most coaches aren't going to get upset over a few missed practices over the course of the year.  They will get upset over practice requirements not being met, being late to or scratching meets at the last minute, and/or "during-practice" issues, depending on what they are.[/quote]

I’m PP.  This isn’t relevant to OP other than that it can be important for the adults to communicate. My DC is returning from injury and is struggling to regain performance and mentally is doubting themselves. Coaches and I are talking about strategies both at home and at practice to help DC overcome the mental block and worries about re-injury. [/quote]
