Messi Jr. would not be fine in that scenario, actually. Anyone who has been around the youth soccer high levels knows that because of his size Messi would have never touched the pitch at many clubs in this country. This complete blind spot is why Argentina continues to win World Cups, and we hope to make it out of the group stage every four years.

No Messi was very fast and quick. The real problem would be the coaches telling him to stop passing, moving off the ball, moving to open space, dribbling with the ball close to your feet, etc. They would put him on the wings, tell him to stand at midfield and chase all the long balls. He would quit the sport within 2 years because anyone with soccer IQ gets super frustrated playing that way(and watching it).[/quote]
