I thought the NYT article said she didn't work. She was a former teacher turned SAHM. So lots of free time as a bored housewife (husband's $$ job meant outsourcing all the basics).[/quote]
Didn’t she explicitly mention in the book, though, that she was a teacher? She worked with that one friend she mentioned in the book.
