How in the world is the "cautionary"?? Do you really think your little snowflake story will prevent anything unusual from happening in the future?  Maybe the proctor got in a car accident and they had to get someone else.  You can NOT predict anything. [/quote]

I am the OP.  Cautionary because this seems to be a not-infrequent occurrence at J-R. I'd read about it here once previously and thought it had been a one-off.

I share this so others may avoid it if they wish.  The proctor showed up at 925 or so, citing "technical difficulties".  [/quote]
