The liberals are for the very rich and the welfare class. The working class and middle class has been skillfully claimed by Trump. This is the majority. Trumps anti-war, pro working man, low taxes on wages, pro Christian, drive to cheapen energy, anti big pharma and other mega corporations is a growth position especially among Hispanics. No wonder nobody is volunteering for the military. Those people don’t come from the wealthy or welfare class and the middle class doesn’t want to be in a military that has 57 genders and has lost 2 wars under Biden.
I am not supposed to laugh at this but I did. I do wish the Dems would stop catering to an elite class. I heard a podcast yesterday where Melinda French Gates said no woman under 18 should have a baby. Sorry, that’s extreme. I would not accept that in my county. I see that as elitism and catering to a very elite class. I see little tiny symbols of pushing back. Brewery in NoVA: It’s third bathroom is a “family bathroom.” I think it’s subtle. But it’s there. btw, as an aside, no man has ever given me a bad look when I used their bathroom. Even truck drivers. (I do it bc I am impatient and it seems like I have to pee urgently). I can handle any look that comes my way. The men laugh— and I laugh —on the way in/out. Times change. But people like change at their own pace.
No women under 18 should have a baby.. I agree with that. -signed an immigrant whose parents don't speak any English, and who went to a C rated state univ, so not elite.
Guess I am a libertarian who votes Dem. I just don’t believe in hard and fast rules for all humans. getting pregnant at 17 and then birthing at 18 is does not make someone undersable. Women can work 40 decades after that. I also have two friends (who I see weekly)who are struggling to conceive. They spend loads of time at the doctors office and freezing eggs. Both earn 30-40 percent more than I do, and I earn well. The messaging is not working. I see it as an economic problem. Let me earn money, then I can decide how and when to best have a family. Melinda Gates telling people when to procreate without dealing with national county economics is absurd.
