Well they don't have much of an endowment.  And what they have,  they're spending on bribing families to come with merit aid.  They are on the bottom rung of the NE SLAC ladder, and it's a shrinking region demographically.  This is a college that will be struggling within a decade. [/quote]

Their endowment is more than $400M. Not as high as some, but similar to Bates and higher than most schools of its size.  They are still a top 50 LAC and have the advantage of being in New England and being in the NESCAC.  I don’t disagree that some SLACs will struggle over the next decade, but I don’t think Conn is one of them.  But I guess we’ll see. [/quote]
