Nope. Most of the people in APE's leadership have been there since their inception during the pandemic. It's the same names. How would you know if anyone joined anyway? Do they even have membership outside of their Facebook page? Also, I've signed up for their newsletter. I don't know why because I don't read it. I wonder if they consider me a "member."[/quote]

It's a 5-person operation of conservative lobbyist who know how to play the game. Just look at their X account. Most of their commenters are RWNJ's. Lots of anti-immigrant stuff. When they say they have 1000 followers, they're talking about a lot of non-Arlington RWNJs who followed them during the pandemic. They do not speak for Arlington parents and never have. This "forum" is another of their tricks. Hold an early candidate forum, get a local journalist to moderate, and look legitimate. Don't fall for it. They're desperate to get new followers and count you as a member. Just don't.[/quote]
