She comes off as a pretty classic entitled, pothead, SoCal girl. He's 15 years older than she is and has two kids in their late teens. Yay, I guess? Am I supposed to be rooting for the almost-50 yr old man to have a couple more kids with his replacement wife (seriously, she's just brunette Gwyneth in many respects)? Good for them, I guess. I give it 10 years, tops.
Chris only dates Hollywood nepo babies!
Hollywood nep babies with weak acting skills who still somehow get plum roles, who are ultra-thin and in the tall side, with a dilettante's interest in rich girl hobbies like art and architecture. It is definitely "a type." Dakota is more sardonic than Gwyneth ever was, but even their personalities have a similar vibe.
+100
I think she's probably much more laid back than GP.
She's "laid back" in the same way Paltrow is -- she's very rich and has never really had to work that hard at anything, and is firmly embedded in SoCal "alternative lifestyle" culture -- crystals and stupid diets and the like. If you've ever seen Paltrow in interviews, even when she's talking about her weird eating disor-- er, I mean, "clean eating" habits, she has a very chill, relaxed persona. But I don't consider this laid back. What do you think these women would be like if they had to live like actual people for any length of time? I think they'd be very wound up. It's easy to be "chill" when for your entire life you've never really had to worry about anything.
