It demonstrates that the student had a rigorous enough HS education to do well on the tests and there is a significant difference in the numbers to point to the fact that HC is on another level from SR and Madeira.  These are quantitative and measurable methods to compare schools.  Why do you think top colleges are bringing back standardized test requirements?  Plus, the implication from the PP was that SR and HC on same level academically...this proves that is absolutely false.

Nobody likes Niche and their self reported SATS. Course catalog and college acceptances are a better measure. But at the end of the day, [b]it is about fit[/b]. The schools could not be more different for so many reasons. They have some overlap because they are both all girls schools, but they really don’t attract the same type of students. Below are links taken from a different thread with 2024 college admissions to date at both schools. Seems like Madeira has a slight edge.

ITA with you that it is about fit.  You are forgetting that this was in response to the person who was putting HC and SR in same category academically.  I pointed out it is not and SR is closer to Madeira.  If that bothers you so much, so be it.  SR's course offerings and matriculations are fine.
