Middle and high school not so much, but people figure it out. To answer PP our house has doubled in value over the last 12 years, and the market is slowing like everywhere, but we don't plan on selling (if we moved, we'd rent it out). That said, buying a decade ago then refinancing and buying today at today's rates are apples and oranges. If my mortgage was $6-7k a month, I wouldn't want to be somewhere I'd have to "figure out" middle school.[/quote]
