Also, there won't be a criminal record or lengthy prison term ruining the lives of the kids who were killed in the crash of a carjacked car, or the 12 year old with 8 prior carjackings who was killed in self-defense by the gun-wielding off-duty security officer. Those kids won't have any records. They're dead. Had they been held responsible for their crimes (especially the 12 yo carjacker) and not left to roam the streets uncorrected, then they might still be alive. [/quote]
