I'm interested that Byron Johns, the NAACP MC Chapter Education Chair, has not been visible recently as the NAACP MC Chapter has protested McKnight's dismissal. Anybody know the story with that?[/quote]

It looks like he moved on.  It was really weird they had some random woman at the MVA BOE meeting instead of him.  I wonder if he didn't agree with the direction they were taking and move on but it says here he is still involved.

Johns has definitely not been part of the NAACP chapter recent activities protesting MCKnight's firing as well as MCEA. He might be part of the Black and Brown Coalition, but he appears to be a party of one, and not representing the NAACP, in the coalition.[/quote]
