Tavel Hockey $5k with goalie discount for team. Doesn’t include travel expenses. Goalie equipment $2k (some of it used). private lessons and camp around $3500. Yeah so $15-$20k for an 11 year old who loves the sport, but definitely won’t play in college. Hahahaha
How can you know this? He is still young.
How do I know? #1. She’s a girl. There are only around 3 dozen D1 women’s hockey teams. #2. Shes a goalie. Teams don’t take goalies every year. And only need 2 goalies. Much less chance making a team as a goalie than as a skater. #3 she loves hockey but her major will be more important so she won’t pick a school based on if they have a team and will let her play. #4 we don’t need it for scholarship so we won’t pressure her to play in college. So yeah she’s 11 but we’re realistic. She won’t play in college.
