What’s a good book for a 7-8 year old to learn cursive at home? I want a good start over summer so it’s easier to pick up during the school year (I think they learn last half of 2nd grade?)
I think cursive is ridiculous and never taught my now 17 yo to use this. He doesn’t need to know how to write this way. I don’t write this way. I print or type!
Taking notes in college classes is MUCH easier if you know cursive & don’t have to print everything. It’s not that difficult to learn. What a weird thing to be so strongly against….
Cursive is not easy for everyone no matter how much practice is put in it. Just as many studies show cursive writing as unnecessary and outdated.
