This would be considered scary skinny in the 90s when the insanely skinny look was considered normal and body image was insanely skewed. [/quote] This does seem a bit too thin. My 15yo DD is 5’5” 100 and she is about as thin as it gets (our ped is absolutely not concerned- she has always been thin and is a very late bloomer, still growing and has gained 10lbs and 1.5inches in the past year). As for OP- it isn’t the weight that is concerning- but the weight LOSS is disturbing. I’d schedule an appt with pediatrician ASAP and note the urgency. Surely this should fall under “sick visit” so you should be able to get in soon. [/quote]
