If you are part of a society than you have to contribute to maintain it. You house might never go up in flames so why support firefighters? You may never be robbed so why support police? You sound very selfish...me, me me! We all need each other unless you move remotely and don't rely on anyone.
Your post is senseless. First, having a police force/firefighting force benefits me directly. They decrease the expense I would have to protect myself without them (e.g., having a firefighting force means we individually do not have to hire a private firefighting force (as was the case in the past.)) Next, you completely missed the arrogance of the PP's post (namely, now women do not need men to have kids, build families, etc.) However, if men are not parents, why would men pay for schools, healthcare for women who cannot afford it, etc.? Go back and read the PP's post on this matter. The theme was that men better step up their game (e.g., women do not need them as they did in the past because women can be single mothers, earn their incomes, etc.). The post was stupid, and even then, you did not understand its implications.
