NP here. I have had two kids in the magnet at TPMS (one currently). Neither have ever had any math classes outside school (including the one in the Blair magnet). I have no idea about my kids classmates and neither do they. So your statement “you would know if your kid actually went to a magnet” is completely false.[/quote]

Your posts are really painful to read. The mix of bragging and then putting others down is just distasteful. I think what people are trying to say is that if your child attends these classes you know who else attends them and there are plenty of MC and UMC white kids from Silver Spring and Takoma. But you wouldn't know that because your children don't attend.[/quote]

Obvious tell when a parent has kids who are smarter than parent. Child probably got their brains from the other parent.  :D [/quote]
