There isn’t a conspiracy theory. We want to discourage (teacher here) this type of behavior. If we normalize it, then any video out there will become a record of someone’s behavior. I personally tell my students to never ever share. #1. You don’t know the whole situation. #2 Video can be edited and posted to show an entirely different story. #3 what stays on the internet is forever. #4 now you are in trouble too! It’s a tenant of digital literacy to be mindful of what you share. Please remind your kids about the importance of social media and cell phone safety. They really don’t want today’s mistakes (really learning experiences) to affect them possibly down the road. [/quote]
