:roll:  These are not the reasons your kid didn't get in.  Plenty of white, UMC students from top FCPS high schools are accepted to all majors, including business and engineering.  Your kid was simply in competition with all of them.  [/quote]

I know a white male from FCPS with high SAT and GPA, but only medium rigor (maybe 6 APs, math ending in AP stats and Calc AB, no English APs) but was Eagle Scout and involved in his church-in for CS. [b]So who knows, maybe they like service. [/b][/quote]
