[/quote] I am a Michigan grad who believes in minimizing undergrad spending to preserve funds for grad school and getting set up in young adult life. Both schools have a good reputation and UVA has the advantage of being closer to home and the potential job market. There may also be less culture shock. Grad school is a good opportunity to make a second choice of institution to affiliate with and try a different geographic area. I think you should have a clear conscience about picking the more reasonably-priced attractive option (UVA).[/quote] Spoken like a reasonable Michigan grad. [/quote]
