It's very connected with elite educational institutions, intellectual matters, and power. A parent I know recently encouraged her child to choose Marquette after a very careful selection process. It was important to their family that their child go to a Catholic college. Quality of education in the major, scholarships, and access to sailing were three other inportant factors. They are from elsewhere in the Midwest...not in IL or WI.[/quote]
