I generally thought all the senators, of both parties asked good questions on behalf of the country.

I will say that Tom Cotton annoyed me.  He kept asking the TikTok guy if he was a member of the Chinese communist party.  The guy said “no, I am a citizen of Singapore” over and over again but Cotton just wouldn’t let up.  I mean, maybe the senator has some intelligence or other source of info that made him go down the path, but to those of us watching, it just seemed like the senator didn’t know the difference between Singapore and China. I think when politicians of both parties put on their sensible hats, and work together, they can accomplish a lot. I’m happy that this is bipartisan. I’m happy to see both sides and seeming agreement for this issue. When people put aside their differences and come together for the betterment of the nation, it is a very good thing, and I will always complement it.

I agree that Tom Cotton was off-topic for his questioning, but I agree that TikTok is a puppet of the Chinese communist party. We don’t use it in my household. But his questioning wasn’t smart it came off as repetitive and a little unhinged. [/quote]
