I see the right-wingers are out in force.
I'm not a right winger. I'm a lifelong liberal. I know you won't believe that, but I dare anyone -- on the right or the left -- to get a job with MCPS and see for themselves what's going on there. It is every bit as crazy as the RWNJs say it is. Again, don't listen to me -- see for yourself. It's not that hard to get a job. Then you'll know.
You work for MCPS? Or is the source of your information rumors and conjecture? Because I work for MCPS and am curious how you are working yourself up into a froth with these weird delusions?
I work for MCPS. I also have kids in and already out of MCPS, so I've seen this once grand system deteriorate over the years, from both sides.
By what metrics? Specifically. Don’t slip into right wing nonsense talking points about equity blah blah blah. By what metrics and outcomes is there “deterioration?” Because you are spewing a whole truckload of horse shit.
No, I'm not. I'm talking about my lived experience. When you can't pull kids out of class who are ahead, because that isn't fair to the kids who are left behind, and you can't have a classroom of kids who all can't read or write specifically so they CAN be taught to read or write, because that's not fair, then there's a problem. Kids aren't learning much in MCPS these days.
