Then you obviously don’t have a child going through the admissions process this year. Kids with much higher GPAs and rigor with impressive ACT and SAT scores are getting rejected and deferred right and left.[/quote]

What? 3.8 unweighted could be 4.7 weighted. That absolutely could get you into UMD. I say this as a parent of a senior and recent grad. A 3.8 is nearly straight As their whole career![/quote]
