I don’t get why anyone votes for democrats The BBB bill had the second most costly item to give money to rich New York homeowners. They have blown away any border and are giving away health care and education and food to South America Democrats hate the deplorables I.e. the middle class. If you are not part of the educated urban elite why should anyone vote for them ?
Counterpoint: BBB is actually reinvesting US tax dollars for American taxpayers and businesses to benefit - jobs, infrastructure etc - everyone "wins" from this legislation and the money going to address transportation, communications and other infrastructure that makes our country competitive. They have not "blown away" the border. Interdictions and apprehensions are up, deportations are up. If we had "open borders" that would not be the case. Why does the GOP complain about "open borders" but then fail to pass any legislation meant to address the problems that exist? I am not sure what you mean about giving away healthcare, food and education to South America, but making life tenable in other countries mitigates the need for people to migrate to the US. So it is actually money well spent if that is what is happening. Democrats don't hate deplorables. if that were the case, the Democrats would be putting money into blue states and "starving" red states. The opposite is actually happening. Red state governors are withholding federal dollars meant to alleviate poverty and child food programs, thus making for unhealthier kids who will do more poorly in school and be more likely to turn to crime or be on welfare in the future.
